A Cup Of Tea With A Great Man

A few days ago, my business partner and I met a friend, whom I
have always regarded with great respect. Please excuse me, here,
for I do not have his permission to mention his name. We met up
for a cup of tea.
“Wesak Day” Joy!

19 May 2008, was Wesak Day, a full-moon day that commemorates
the three important events in the life of Buddha – His birth,
Enlightenment and Passing Away. Malaysia has been observing
Wesak Day as a public holiday since 1962, in recognition of
Buddhism being the religion with second largest following in
this country. And in year 2000, United Nations declared Wesak
Day as the official Buddhist holiday, internationally.
Mother’s Day

As I sat down to blog, I felt my heart overflowing with love. I
am excited about what I am going to share with my dear readers,
in this blog. Yesterday, 11th May 2008, was Mother’s Day. Yes, I
am going to talk about the two great ladies I admire and love
very much; my mother-in-law and my own mother.
