I truly appreciate the love and concern of all, thank you. It feels good to know that people care and what I had done mattered and helped them grow.

The truth is my heart had always wanted me to stop conducting the classes for quite some time. I was conveniently delaying it, but one day it gave me an ultimatum; stop or it will forever stay silent! That’s when I decided, firmly, to just put an end to the classes.

Dear friends, it is my spiritual heart that has made me who I am, today. I had just surrendered myself to its will and have always listened to it without asking any questions. The heart may seem illogical to the mind, at times, but it has led me to a path thick with knowledge, experience and awareness, that knows no bounds. The heart’s wisdom remains supreme. I have listened to it since the moment I asked the thundering question “Who Am I?” at a young age of 18, during an interesting debate with one of my lecturer in school. I have detailed an account of this incident under “Foreword” of my first book “Awareness Series: Book 1: The Seven Basic Laws of Nature”

It has been a mind-boggling roller-coaster ride, since. It still is, very much. However, I am much more matured, now, emotionally. This makes it easier for me to constantly have a smile on my face whether the heart gives a joyful or painful experience. It has brought me to unknown depths and greater heights. Words simply fail to explain how much it had helped shape my thinking and also lead me, step by step, to higher states of awareness.

I have chronicled a summarized version of some of the experiences in my blog here 26/12/2006 to 31/12/2006. Let’s get back to the question, “Why I Stopped Conducting My Classes?” I quit with a vague awareness of why my heart wanted me to do so; I did not know the in-depth reasons, though.

In the last two years, my spiritual heart has been gently “teaching” and “showing” me why it wanted me to stop the classes. The reason was simple; “THE NEED TO CHANGE”. The “change” in both myself and my participants! Yes, it is about the ‘heart’ and ‘change’.

I had an exciting weekend. K.L.Tan, a friend and also a fellow
trader, and I conducted a training program entitled “Bona Fide
Trader: Successful Trading Program (Level 1 & 2)”.

It was a seminar on trading stocks and futures markets. My
session was for four hours, which is one part of a bigger two
days program (over two weekends, two Saturdays). While K.L.Tan
covered the basics and the technical aspects of trading, I
related trading to the seven basic Laws of Nature and how
goal-setting is important to become a successful financial
markets trader.

I was all excited; I have been trading for a very long time
(starting 1991, and seriously from 1996), but this was the first
time I was sharing and teaching a group of people in a classroom
setting. Normally, I would be sharing my ideas with just a few
fellow traders, every now and then.

I had a great crowd with interesting questions. This experience
brought me back memories of my time when I was learning from my
partner about trading twelve years ago. Later, I shared my
experience in the class with my wife. I was full of gratitude as
I told her how appreciative I was of my partner’s patience and
wisdom in teaching me.

Yesterday, 28th September, K.L. Tan, his wife, my wife and I met
up for a quiet dinner. We discussed about the seminar; our
presentations and how we can improvise in future seminars.

Today, I attended a good friend’s wedding reception, Fu Phui
See, who is also my Personal Physical Fitness Trainer. She is
actually the younger sister of Steven, who markets my e-book,
http://www.7LawsOfNature.net.

Trading the world markets, my mind is constantly analyzing and
working out new ways of trading and investing. However, the same
doesn’t apply to my body. As I come home every evening, I am
normally exhausted. My duty continues, though, despite the
tiredness. After work, I attend meetings with my Personal
Coaching participants, or the many businesses that I am an
advisor to: I simply have no time for other activities.
Naturally, to a great extent, I have neglected my body over the
last few years.

Early this year, my partner fell ill due to a slight block in
his heart. I have blogged about it here. At the same time, a few
close friends and participants were also falling ill and they
came back with the same comment from their doctors, ‘Lack of
physical exercise’.

Personally, this is a wake-up call from Nature!  I need to get
back into shape. I am also aware that my mind would perform
better if my body is in better shape. Therefore, I decided to
hire a Personal Trainer. It costs some money, but what is the
point of having all the money in the world when you are not
healthy?

Phui See is an excellent Personal Trainer. She has helped me
lose weight and build body stamina. Also, as I am getting back
into shape, I find my performance in trading improving
tremendously; my mind works faster and is also more aware of
things. She basically builds her program around the schedules of
her client and the workouts are customized to meet the client’s
requirements. This flexibility in time schedule allows me to
continue with my normal activities. And this turned out to be

Yesterday, 14th September, I conducted money awareness workshop.
The seminar fell on the right time, since, at this moment the
world economy is slowing down.

There were many interesting questions from the floor, especially
questions on the various types of investment opportunities with
their pros and cons.

Basically, my message in the seminar was to cultivate the habit
of saving before thinking about investing. I made it a point to
advise those who are in debt to quickly settle that, first. I
spoke about shares, mutual funds, bonds and many other forms of
investments. There was also an interesting topic with regards to
properties and jewelry.

I shared my view with the audience on that matter, “I owned a
few properties in the past, but I have reduced them to just a
few, now. Years ago, a great realization dawned upon me; when
more properties are being built, the space for trees and other
animals to live on is slowly, but surely, reduced. Some people
buy a great number of properties to end up staying in only a
few, the rest left unattended. Presently, there is over
development in many parts of the world. At the same time, the
development is not balanced around the world. And sadly, great
numbers of old forests are being cleared in the name of
development.”

“Eventually, “what we do to others will come upon us”. This
philosophy is not only for humans, but also the plants and
animal kingdom. In fact, it applies to anything and everything
existing in this universe, at all levels! That is why I am not
much in favor of owning too many properties. Anyway, this is my
personal opinion.”

With regards to jewelry, there are many who hoard on these
precious metals. Some own too much of jewelry that they are
perpetually in fear that they would be robbed. To feel safe,
they lock the jewelry up in the bank, and they end up stagnating
there without serving any purpose.”

Dear friends, gold and diamond and other precious metals are not
easily available; they are embedded deep in the earth’s crust to
hold the earth together as EARTH itself! That’s their real
purpose of existence, and not to be locked up in some bank
vault!

Personally, I feel that it is only wise and proper to own
jewelry, if you desire, in small quantities; hoarding does more
harm than good. My wife and I believe in leaving these precious
jewels in the earth itself so that they can serve their purpose
of existence; hence, we do not own any jewelry.

As human beings, I believe, we would prefer people to value us
based on who we are, not by how much jewelry we wear! I also
know of some people who buy jewelry with credit, and agonize
paying monthly!

However, dear friends, these are my personal views. You may not
agree with me, but this is how I look at the world, from the
eyes of Nature!

Recently, I met an old participant who had done well in his
life, and achieved some of the goals he had set for himself.
However, about three months back, he was hit hard by Nature.

Before meeting him, I was told that he was not doing well in
business. It seemed, most of his earliest clients (some large
portfolios) stopped dealing with him. Now, these clients
happened to be my friends, too. Relating to me, they felt he had
become money-minded and egoistic, dealing with them.

When I met up with this person, he confessed being egoistic as
he was scaling new heights. I smiled and shared with him my
experiences, “One must never forget the past; where one comes
from and the humble beginnings. Those who had supported him/her
in the first place must always be high on the list. Of course,
they do not own you but it is your duty to repay their kindness
and be flexible to them, especially, when they need you.”

“Although, I am financially well-off, now, and have scaled new
heights in the financial world, I have not forgotten my partner.
Wherever I am, or whoever I am with, I always make sure that he
gets the prominence, I being silent in the background, unless he
asks for me. Similarly, I am very generous to my spiritual
master’s organization. Whenever they need help and look for me,
I will be there immediately to assist them in whatever possible
way. I also maintain close contact with my earliest business
clients who helped me in the beginning of my career. I make it a
point to check, every now and then, that they are doing fine.”

“Over the years, especially during the 1998 asia financial crisis, I had the
opportunity to repay my business clients’ kindness by helping
them navigate out of the crisis and emerge stronger. All these
were done without any expectation. When they insisted that I
take payment for the work, I requested that they donate it to
their favorite charity. And they did, gladly. Now, a few have
already retired and two have passed away, but I still make
myself available for the family, in case they needed any
assistance.”

As I was relating my story, my participant had tears in his
eyes. He said, “I regret over what has happened. The money I was
making turned me into an egoistic person. What do I do, now, my
friend?”

I replied, gently, “Just go back to the basics. ACCEPT the fact
that you have erred, and seek forgiveness from the people you
feel you have hurt. Be humble, and work towards doing your best
and earning their trust back. That’s all!”

He thanked me, and left. My thoughts drifted back to my old
clients, friends and my partner who were sincerely there for me,
in my early days. A deep sense of gratitude towards them
enveloped my heart.

Recently, I had a meeting with a participant who has an
interesting past. The purpose of the meeting was to work on his
goals to be a successful businessman.

Many years back, this person was a gangster and was feared by
many. One not-so-fine-day, he was caught by the police and
thrown into jail. He said that even though he was involved in a
lot of vices against the law, he was never caught. But this
time, he got caught for someone else’s vice; due to
circumstances, it looked as though he did it. He chided, “This
is what I can’t understand. Why punish me for something I didn’t
do?”

He endured hard times when he was in prison and brought much
agony to his parents who did their best to help him out.
Thankfully, with relevant evidence, he was eventually pardoned
by the court.

He said, “Whenever I think about that part of my life,
especially the moments I spent in the prison and the pain my
parents went through, I feel very hurt. I cannot accept that I
was punished for something I did not do. I agree that I caused
chaos in the eyes of the laws, but I don’t think I deserve a
time in the jail! Why was Nature unfair to me?”

I could not help, but laugh! He was taken aback. I said to him
in a firm voice, “For someone in the wrong, you sure have the
guts to ask why Nature was unfair to you! The truth is, my dear
friend, Nature was being very fair to you and you should be
grateful for that, and not question its work!”

He was shocked at my sharpness. Probably, he was expecting
sympathy from me. I said, “The great law, Energy Returns Back to
Source, ensures that your thoughts, words and actions return
back to you! How great the blessing and how severe the
punishment depends very much on the positive or negative quality
of your thoughts, words and actions. One more thing that
determines the blessing or the punishment you get is the element
of time. The longer the cycle takes to return back, the greater
the blessings or the more extreme the punishment would be. It is
like borrowing money from the bank; the longer you take to
settle, the more the interest you have to pay!”

I took a deep breath and continued, “Consider this; what if one
of the persons whom you threatened or hurt during your gangster
days was supposed to become a great leader and help the nation
grow to greater heights. Unfortunately, due to your actions, he
developed fear, became timid and unfit to become a leader. Due
to this action, you have deprived millions of this person’s
inspiration and leadership! Now, is that fair?”

My participant was quiet in deep thought, a feeling of regret. I
continued, “You are fortunate that Nature gave you a short stint
in the prison, and not with more severe punishment as incurable
disease, etc. You should be extremely grateful to Nature, my
friend; Nature gave you the problem (to cleanse) and got you out
of it, immediately. That shows how much Nature loves you. It is
not wise to question the wisdom of Nature. It has been around
before you and I and it will continue to be around even after we
are long gone. NATURE IS WISE BEYOND MEASURE. Learn to trust and
have faith in it. You may manipulate Man-made Laws, but never
Nature’s Laws! Nature’s Laws are always working and it keeps
account of everything and anything! All dues must be settled and
all rewards must be bestowed upon! This is how it works.”

In that moment of solemn silence, my participant nodded, tears
in his eyes. He said, “I never looked at it that way. It is
absolutely difficult for me to accept this, but I do understand
it better, now.”

I said, “Be patient and allow Nature to teach you,
wholeheartedly. It takes time, but you have to start somewhere.
For the moment, start with what you have, your GOALS.”

He smiled. We started working on his goals. Later, he left with
a lighter heart.

Dear readers, my site, www.theuneducatedone.com, got hacked
recently. That was the reason for, “Site is down for
maintenance”, if you had tried accessing to my blog site.
Hereby, please excuse me for the delayed posting.

It was a unique experience, though. I have heard and read about
‘being hacked’, and often wondered about it and felt sorry for
those involved. I never really understood the matter much; I
thought the site would just go haywire and needed to be
shutdown, clear the malicious codes installed by hackers,
restart the website and that would be it.

However, with my own experience, I learnt that it is much more
complicated than that! Over the last few weeks, I had serious
headache trying to solve this problem. My site loading slowed
down tremendously and some of the functions like clicking on
previous months posting did not work. It was as though the whole
site was shutting down, slowly.

I am thankful to my friend, Steven Fu
(http://www.7LawsOfNature.net), who helped me handle this
problem. I managed to discover the malicious codes that appeared
in the .php files. Strange though, when I removed the malicious
codes from my site, they kept re-appearing a few hours later!

After consulting the company that hosts my site, I changed all
my passwords and cleared the codes again. I thought the problem
was finally solved. When I checked in again later, the codes
reappeared! I simply could not believe it! I could only shake my
head and smile. At the back of my mind, I was silently asking
Nature what it was teaching me by giving me this problem.

Later, while discussing with Steven and the hosting company, we
decided to upgrade my blog site. As I use Word Press
(wordpress.com), I looked for the latest upgrade available and
with Steven’s help upgraded it. After that, for about a week, it
seemed to be okay. Maybe, there were some loopholes in the
earlier version that the hacker(s) could have exploited.

You would, now, notice that my site appears simpler without the
picture of the white tiger and the site has bare minimum
information on the left and right sidebars. I will slowly update
them as I become more confident that the hacker problem is
solved. Please bear with me, dear readers. I will also update on
the last few weeks blogs.

Well, what did I learn from this lesson, technically? Change
passwords often and, of course, always upgrade to the latest
version!

At a deeper level, I am aware of the message Nature is giving
me. Over the last two years, I have been spending a lot of time
and energy, working with my Personal Coaching participants,
helping them grow in their business and personal life. After
getting similar “messages” from Nature, I slowed a little to
spend more time with my family, especially my parents.

Now, I get the real message. Actually, it has been some time
since I spent any time with myself; getting to know my SELF
more, my spiritual growth. As I looked around me, I became aware
that most of my Personal Coaching participants are doing much
better, now. As such, I am starting to adjust my schedules to
include more time for myself, and also to go deeper into
meditations.

Dear readers, I shall continue to post my experiences in this
blog site. Hacked or not hacked, this blog site shall always be
in existence as long as it benefits mankind!

As the title suggests, Yours Truly was seriously clobbered by
the world markets last week. It had been a while since I got hit
this badly. The last was in 2001. But glad to say, my pockets
run deep. As such, I am doing fine, just “bruised” a little. The
bruise was necessary, I suppose.

Dear readers, I am fortunate that I learned about money
management quite early in my life. Over the years, I have saved
up and tucked away quite a substantial amount of money to
survive any unexpected storm.

Yesterday, I took some time off to analyze where things went
wrong. Most often, traders and investors fall into the trap of
“blaming” the markets, authorities, oil prices, etc., for their
losses in the markets. They forget that it was their sole
decision, in the first place, to get involved in the markets! As
such, it is not proper to blame anyone or anything for one’s
loss. The wise act would be to accept responsibility for one’s
actions and continue, bravely. ONLY then would one learn.

Anyway, I acknowledged and accepted what had happened. It was
not easy, though. I felt, if Nature had to hit me so bad, there
must be something that I was not giving importance to, or
blissfully ignoring, or delaying, or simply not aware of! As
such, I started to search deeply to see what Nature was trying
to teach me.

Firstly, the bizarre nature in which I lost money in the markets
was truly unexplainable. I was trading as usual; buying and
selling at key levels at which the chances were better to make
money. However, the unprecedented still took place; last week
99% of all my trades went the wrong way!

I checked and counter checked…..and realized, technically, there
was nothing wrong with my trading. The only logical error I
noticed was that I should have reduced my trading size more
aggressively when the losses began to grow. I did reduce,
though, but was not quick enough. I was a little slow in
reducing my trading sizes at each consecutive trade. On that, I
made a mental note to make sure that I would be more careful,
the next time.

But, it was still wacky to lose 99% of the trades! So, I began
looking into other areas of my life which I may have overlooked;
two matters became apparent to me. Firstly, over the last three
weeks, a few people had inquired me on the worrying state of the
world economy. I advised them to be prudent and prepared,
especially to have some solid cash in hand.

Now, my mind has always been firmly fixed on my goals. However,
I realized that as I was advising people to be more prudent, the
worrying state of the economy had slowly crept into my mind!
Though the effect was minute, it still created a certain anxiety
and fear in me, now and then.

Dear readers, as per Law of Vibration and Attraction, whatever
that you frequently think about (including worries) will attract
the similar RESULTS. So, I firmly corrected myself by fixing my
focus ONLY on my goals, everything unnecessary was weeded out.
Whenever that thought crossed my mind, I would gently cut it off
by focusing back ONLY on my goals. I also told myself over and
over again, “Whatever the state of the world economy is, I WILL
still achieve my goals; NO IFs’ AND BUTs’. Period!”

I also became aware of a second cause; I realized I was not
working on something my heart had indicated a few months back. I
was supposed to start an Advance Study Group, focusing on my
book, “Awareness Series: Book 1: The Seven Basic Laws of
Nature”. It was supposed to be a no-nonsense class with serious
study and discussions with regards to understanding the inner
workings of these laws and how the laws guide to discover one’s
individual role and purpose in this existence.

I have already done the ground work for the project with all the
relevant materials in hand, but since I was pre-occupied with
the markets, there is delay in the implementation. All I need to
do, now, is to organize the materials and the program would be
ready to take off. Yes, when the spiritual heart indicates
something, I have learnt to follow its wise instructions,
faithfully. As I realized this, I slapped my forehead and
laughed. I quietly reminded myself who the boss was!

Immediately, I called Kumaran of Mutiara Power Packed Training
Programs, the company that handles all my trainings and
seminars, and requested him to fix a time to start the class in
October 2008. At the moment, I am planning to have only one
session for year 2008. I told him that there should not be more
than 25 participants in a class. With a chuckle, Kumaran said
that there are many people already requesting for this class and
are just waiting to start. I shook my head in disbelief; how
could I have not been aware of that. Quietly, I told myself,
“How foolish of me to delay this!” I suggested that he started
arranging the necessary for the project to start off.

Later, I told my wife of what I became aware of. She laughed.
Looking into my eyes, the wise woman said, “I suppose Nature
gave you a good knock on the head, didn’t it? Nature, surely,
loves you very much!”

I replied, “Oh, I have never doubted that, my beloved!”

Dear readers, I do not know what will happen next week. However,
I shall continue to observe my thoughts, words and actions,
study the world markets charts, indicators and continue to
search further what Nature has been trying to teach me through
last week’s incidents.

My sincere message in this entry is, “BE RESPONSIBLE OVER YOUR
OWN DOING! REFRAIN FROM BLAMING OTHERS/SITUATION. ALWAYS LOOK
WITHIN FOR NATURE’S LESSONS AND WORK ON THEM, AND CONTINUE TO
IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF YOUR LIFE!”

I was in Kuantan, today, to conduct the follow-up workshop for
the two days program we did for Teras Dara Sdn. Bhd, earlier. I
have blogged about it here.

This workshop was on “Relaxing the Human Mind, Goal-Setting and
Achieving”.

The insights and experiences I shared on “Goal Setting and
Achieving”, got the participants glued to their seats. I said,
“It is essential that one thinks, speaks and does his or her
best in whatever he/she is engaged in, whether at work or at
home. Please note, that energy is neither created nor destroyed,
but it merely changes form. All the energy (the goals that we
want to achieve) we need is already here; it is just in
different form. At the moment, the goals are formless, as
ideas.”

“As energy is neither created nor destroyed, it is now up to you
to change this idea into form. To change formless into form, you
need to give it energy! How do you “give” energy to the idea?
Like I said, the whole universe is balanced. As you “give”
yourself into living (through thought, speech and action) your
very best at your current work and at home, doing more than what
you are actually paid for, this positive energy (doing your best
at work and at home) leaves you.”

“You are, then, reimbursed back by Nature as per the working of
Law of Energy Returns Back to Source. How does it “reimburse”
you? Normally, it comes in the form of happiness, good health
and of course wealth. It would also take shape in the form of
goal that you have set for yourself, provided, your thoughts,
plans and ideas are always revolving around your goals and have
not strayed.”

“Your “positive giving”, puts the Law of Vibration and
Attraction into motion. Accordingly, people, ideas and events
that can help you achieve your goals will be “attracted” to you.
When you sincerely work on the ideas, with the people and the
events surrounding you, your formless goal will start taking
form and become REAL.”

I also stressed that the participants start immediately with
whatever they had on their plates. I encouraged them to work
hard to improve the quality of their job, improve the quality of
relationship with husband/wife and children, and also with other
family members. I reminded them that nothing comes by just
wishing; one has to take action by actually working on the
goals/dreams.

I had fun using my own experiences, relating to the topic of
discussion, on how I worked on achieving my goals, in the past:
this included my software business, Safety and Health seminars,
motivational and awareness seminars, futures trading,
telemarketing, and others.

The various questions from the participants made the session
lively. Later in the afternoon, we headed back home. As we were
about to reach Kuala Lumpur, Ramesh brought us to one of the
mountain peaks in Ampang, about 20km from the heart of Kuala
Lumpur. While enjoying food in one of the restaurants there, we
feasted our eyes on the beautiful city skyline as the sun set. I

“WOW!” that’s how I felt over the weekend! I had a ball of a
time. It felt good to conduct the two-day program after a long
time. Since I was busy with trading, a few classes proposed
earlier had to be postponed. Hence, I was really looking forward
for this class.

Usually, most seats would be booked earlier since this public
program is conducted only once a year. Participants are mostly
my book readers, those seeking to know more about themselves
and, of course, those who are working towards their goals in
life.

This class was a mix group of participants from all levels of
organization, and they blended very well with each other. The
program covers theory (25%) and practical (75%); I concentrate
less on the theory as I believe practicality creates more
awareness.

In relating to the workings of Nature’s Laws, I use many real
life examples that participants can relate to. Practical
examples enable participants to relate easily to their past and
current thoughts, words and actions.

Many of them were fascinated with the workings of Nature’s Laws.
One of the participants said during the break, “I never thought
that Nature’s Laws worked that precisely, without taking any
break, 24 hours. I was definitely wrong to assume that they
worked only when I was aware of them!” Even though there were
not many questions from the floor, the few questions forwarded
were indeed deep and thought provoking. Later, the Mutiara team
comprising of my past participants, also agreed that the
questions forwarded were soul-searching. Actually, questions
from participants bring the best out of me. It creates an
opportunity for me to relate to my experiences in life.

There was also one particular moment of nostalgia; one of the
participants who had read my books more than once, enquired of
my late spiritual Master whom I have mentioned in the book.
Gladly, I shared with them some of the experiences I had with my
Master. Memories flooded my mind. At the end of the second day,
the participants left with a happy feeling, with greater
awareness. A few told me personally that they would do their
best to change their thoughts, words and actions, in sync with
Nature’s Laws, and work seriously towards their goals. I smiled,
truly overjoyed to hear that.

Later, the Mutiara team headed for its big dinner as we always
do after conducting every two days program. That night, when my
head hit the pillow, my mind drifted back to my spiritual
Master, “I miss You very much, my beloved Master!” Tears welled
up in my eyes. Yes, He is always with me, watching and guiding
me!
