An Enjoyable, Quiet Day

Yesterday, 18th August 2007, I took some rest after the chaotic
day in the markets on 17th August 2007 which I had blogged here.
I was in Starbucks at Berjaya Times Square rather early in the
morning. I ordered my favorite chicken sandwiches and a mug of
their signature hot chocolate and settled down at my favorite
place! Perfect!

The recent weeks had been truly challenging. Due to the US
subprime woes, the world markets plunged to unbelievable depths
within a very short period of time. The Malaysian local bourse
was not spared, either!
A Peculiar Event

Yesterday and today, the markets were truly challenging and
unpredictable. The world markets were quite badly affected by
the US subprime loan woes. As such, my partner and I were
holding some short position in the futures and very minimal long
positions in shares.

few years, now. I was aware that he was not stable, financially,

appear as the ultimate reality that is permanent. One day, when
one is way off course from the purpose of his or her life,
Nature without warning would pull the rugs right under the
person’s feet, and that’s when everything would crumble down!
