Facing Defeat (Part 1)

Since we had some truly difficult times trading in the market in
the recent weeks due to the erratic phase the market was in, my
partner and I were feeling relatively relaxed the past few days.
The market was actually ‘behaving’ rather ‘orderly’ these few
days!

I said to my participant that the Law of Vibration and
Attraction ensures that whatever he chooses to think and focus
on, using the Law of Choosing, will be delivered to him! This
can come in the form of ideas, people or even events. However
the trick here is to ASK; ask properly what your heart really
wants and SPECIFY your affirmation (goals). As a great wise man
said long ago, “Ask and you shall receive!â€

Yesterday, 28th May, 2007, I had lunch appointment with one of
my participants. He is a dynamic individual who has great
passion for teaching. We were to work on some ideas. My wife set
up the appointment for me.
A Nice Quiet Day

Yesterday, 27th May, 2007, I was at Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya,
which is about 20 km north of Kuala Lumpur town center. Members
of the Mutiara Power Packed Training Program team were doing
sales and promotion for my products (books and seminar compact
discs) and services (Training and Personal Coaching) at the flea
market held every Sunday.

At the time of the call, I was right in front of the bank’s ATM
in Bukit Bintang. What my participant told me really
flabbergasted me! He wanted to quit the business that he started
with his wife through the Personal Coaching sessions. I stood
there listening to him, quietly.
Keeping Your Name In The Hat (Part 1)

The last few days, I had grueling trading sessions in the local
market. As the market continued to scale higher, it became a
little dangerous to trade. The reason was it had moved up quite
a fair bit. Only recently, there was a small pull back.
Nevertheless it was a bit difficult to trade as the pullback
ranges were very small.

Today, I received a call from my wife while trading. Normally,
she would call only if it is urgent. My strict instruction to
those who have my number is not to call during trading hours. As
I was busy closing a trade, I did not answer. I returned call
ten minutes later.

During lunch today, I met up with Kumareswaran, the yoga teacher
and Ramesh, the Creative Designer. Apparently, Kumareswaran had
met a college Administer who wanted to offer yoga classes to the
college students if they were interested. However, he needed
Ramesh’s expertise to come up with a creative brochure to
advertise his services.

Through Law of Vibration and Attraction, we come into contact
with people, ideas and events that can help us achieve what we

Just as I finished giving my input, the participant I was
waiting for arrived and I excused myself from the others. I
brought him for a walk around the condominium premises. The
condominium where I stay has huge trees; it is always cooling
and enjoyable to take a walk among the trees.

and Country Club in Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. No, I was not there
to play golf! I never really thought much about the game.

On 12th May 2007, I was at Premier Milk (M) Sdn. Bhd. for their
ninth workshop on ‘Leadership’. It was a different than usual
workshop. For a start, I was feeling a bit tired due to the
hectic stocks and futures trading the previous day.

The recent weekend was truly hectic for me. I had my plate full
with two workshops and working dinners. It was almost like a
normal weekday for me. However, I had plenty of fun as I was
doing things that I loved to do. As such, I hardly felt tired

punished exactly the same way! This is the way how it works;

In the next workshop, I got to know from my friend, the
kindergarten owner that the teachers had sort of boycotted me
after they got to know about my so-called ‘disturbing’ one of
their colleagues. I could see that no one was paying attention
in the class and almost all of them were looking at me with
anger on their face. I smiled, thinking to myself, “..so much
for innocent until proven guilty!†Then, sadly I wondered, if
this was the attitude of the teachers, how would they instill
the principles of truth, justice and Nature’s Laws in the young
children they were in charge of?

Just as I was about to finish the conversation, she asked me a
question, “Have you ever gone through anything similar to what I
am going through, now, with regards to gossips?†Her question
actually opened up a floodgate of experiences sweeping across my
mind in moments. After a pause, I said softly, “Plenty, my
friend, plenty!†She asked me whether it would be too much if
she were to ask me to share with her some experiences.

For the first time throughout the conversation, I sensed
confidence taking hold of her. She was starting to look at the
whole situation positively. She asked me what other steps she
needed to take. I said, “You have to learn to FORGIVE AND
FORGET. This act is extremely important; it is definitely
illogical to be angry with the characters used by Nature to help
you to neutralize your past thoughts, words and actionsâ€. She
realized that it would be difficult act, but she was resolute
that somehow she would do it wholeheartedly.

As I finished giving the example, there was a long silence on
the other end of the line. Slowly gathering herself up, she
asked me in a sad voice how long she would have to take to “payâ€
back for her misdeeds. I said that no one has an answer to that
question, “You don’t have to worry about that. Just leave it to
Nature. Nature is always keeping track of everything. Whatever
that needs to be balanced out would be done by Nature. From this
point onwards, just be more aware of your thought, speech and
act, so as not to repeat the same or other similar misdeeds
again. If not this would, then, start a new negative cycleâ€.

A Short Holiday

I just came back from a short holiday with some of my close
friends. We spent yesterday (5th May 2007) at my condo unit in
Port Dickson and the whole of today (6th May 2007) at A’Formosa
Resort in Malacca which is about 150 kilometers south of Kuala
Lumpur.

Last night (3rd May 2007), my Personal Coaching Participants who
were involved in the Wesak Day promotion, got together to do a
post mortem on our performances on the event.

The last two days (30th April and 1st June 2007) have truly been
enjoyable and tiring. The Mutiara Power Packed Training Programs
team members and my Personal Coaching Participants had our full
scale promotion of our products and services on the Wesak Day
celebrations. I had mentioned about this event in my earlier
blog on the 22nd April 2007.
